  1. Rust is a reddish-brown oxide of iron formed 
  2. by the action of moisture and oxygen on the 
  3. metal. It consists mainly of hydrated iron 
  4. (III), oxide (Fe2O3.H2O and iron (III), 
  5. hydroxide (Fe(OH)3).

  8. minute parasitic fungi of the order 
  9. Uredinales, which appear on the leaves of
